Weldon Christmas in Colorado

We took our Christmas celebrations back home to Colorado with a few tag alongs. The Feuling girls and Grandma and Grandpa Weldon came along for the ride.

We made it out to the new Star Wars movie.

And we got to celebrate with Abby who was visiting from Germany.

And who brought German booze.

We also got our nails done, because why not.

And what do you do with the aluminum foil you just received for Christmas....

Make helmets.

Merry Christmas Weldons!

Rocket Launch

Daniel received a rocket for his birthday from his Aunt Kerry. So, when she was out visiting and the weather was nice, we went to a park and Dad helped him launch it. Twice! He loved it. It was the perfect gift.

The other kids tried to keep themselves entertained.

Here is a video of the first launch.

Thanks again, Aunt Kerry! It was the perfect gift.

Weldon Christmas in Iowa

Most of the trip we spent at Grandma and Grandpa Weldon's. We got to celebrate with a lot of family, including the Lindens.

And Great-Grandpa Linden.

Christmas Eve we went to church with the Van Wyks and participated in the retelling of the Christmas story as a few angels, some kings, and a donkey.

Then we celebrated Christmas morning with the family.

Everyone got minion shirts made curtesy of Uncle Adam.

More family time and celebrating. It was a great week of Christmas!

Strutt Christmas

Our first Christmas celebration was with Grandma and Grandpa Strutt and Uncle Jon and Aunt Jaclyn.

There was cookie decorating and lots of fun cousin time.

These kids love to play together.

Christmas Morning

We kept up our tradition of having the boys pick out ornaments and then decorating the tree.

We had to get a new tree this year to hold all the kids' ornaments.

While Josh and I were at the Nuggets game, the other two made Rice Krispie treats for Santa. We have a special arrangement with him to come the morning we leave for Iowa so we don't have to bring all the fun new stuff we get from Iowa.

The next morning, we got to see what Santa left and opened presents before jumping in the car and heading to Iowa for more celebrating.

Merry Christmas from the Weldons!

Mother/Son night at Nuggets basketball

This year, Josh and I attended the Nugget's Mother/Son event. We got to watch them take on the New York Knicks.

They were handing out free hats.

And after the game we got to get our picture taken on the court.

It was a fun night to spend with my oldest.

Chatfield Trail of Lights

Dad's company gave out Trail of Lights tickets to their employees this year. So on a cold, Saturday evening, we bundled up and headed outside to look at the lights. It was very nice. I couldn't really get many good pictures of the lights, but it was a fun night.

There was a wagon ride, hot coco, and lots of lights.

I think everyone enjoyed it. Even if it was cold.
