Science Museum Trip

Every year for Christmas, we are gifted a membership to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The boys love this place and I love that there are new exhibits frequently. This week, when the Weldons were in town, we took them to the museum to see the new Vikings exhibit.

It told the history of the Vikings and displayed a lot of artifacts from their time.

I think the boys enjoyed learning.

I know I enjoyed it.

Patriots Flag Football

Josh rejoined the Patriots this spring for some flag football (in between baseball tournaments).

The season didn't end the way we would have liked, but he enjoyed it as he always does. Until next season Patriots.

Heritage Field Day 2017

Heritage held it's annual field day again this year. There were the fun oldies....

...water bottle tag...

...and rubber chicken toss.

Plus some new games, like giant egg carry and a bouncy house.

As usual, the boys loved it. I can't believe next year will be Patrick's first field day and Josh's last.

Red Lightning Soccer

Patrick started his soccer career this spring with Real soccer club. He was put on the Red Lightning with Coach Bill and had a blast.

The season started off a little lite with only three players at the first game and one of those players refusing to play and crying on the sideline, but the rest of the season took off.

They ended up only losing one game the entire season. Patrick loved it and learned so much. He's looking forward to next season.

Go Red Lightning!

Kindergarten Meet 'n Greet

The boys' school held a Kindergarten Meet 'n Greet this year for incoming Kindergarteners. That meant Patrick!

They started in the library for story time from a Kindergarten teacher.

Then we took a tour of the school and ended with a snack and time to play with friends on the playground.

I think he is excited. Good luck next year, Kindergartener!

Daniel's Stitches

While playing at the playground during one of Josh's baseball games, Daniel slipped and split his head on a ladder. Lucky for us, Josh's baseball coach is a PA and his office was just down the street. So Daniel sat with ice on his head until the game was over. Then Dad drove him over to the office where he was stitched up (after two doses to numb his head when they found the cut to be larger than thought. Ouch!).

I guess Josh isn't the only one with head wounds anymore.

Thank you, Coach Eric!

Easter 2017

Easter Sunday the boys woke up bright and early to go search for their baskets and eggs.

Then they sorted their goodies (per mom) to share later.

Then we headed to church and dinner with the Weldons for a fun Easter Sunday.

Happy Easter everyone!
